Usage Areas
Used indoors. Self-leveling thin screed for rapid and short-duration new and renovation applications on cement, gypsum-based, and similar substrates.
Product Features
A gray powder product composed of dispersion-based powder polymer and specially selected raw materials. When mixed with water, it forms a self-smoothing mortar with a suitable consistency that can be worked for 15 minutes and is walkable and ready for covering within 60 minutes after application.
General
The thickness should be at least 1.5 mm on solid and non-absorbent substrates. ARDEX K 55 can be applied up to a maximum thickness of 10 mm in a single application. For thicknesses between 10-20 mm, sand can be added to the ARDEX K 55 mortar in the following proportions:
- 0.3 parts by volume of 0-4 mm washed sand per 1 part by volume of mortar
- 0.5 parts by volume of 0-8 mm washed sand per 1 part by volume of mortar
Packaging
20 kg kraft bag
Shelf Life and Storage
Can be stored for approximately 24 months in a dry and cool environment in its original unopened packaging.
