ARDEX K 520 is a self-leveling, mineral-based decorative floor coating system ideal for creating concrete-look surfaces in residential, office, and commercial interiors. It offers high compressive strength and a dust-free surface, with low internal stress and shrinkage. The product can be applied from 7 mm to 15 mm thick for decorative concrete-look floors, from 12 mm to 25 mm for terrazzo applications, and up to 75 mm with aggregate addition.
Product Type
The powder product consists of a mixture of specially selected additives, fillers, synthetic powder dispersion, gray cement, and special hydraulic powder binders. When mixed with water, it forms a fluid, self-leveling mortar.
Usage Areas
ARDEX K 520 is a self-leveling, mineral-based concrete-look floor coating system product. It is used on absorbent and some non-absorbent floors in interior spaces such as residential, office, retail stores, warehouses, and light traffic industrial production areas where a concrete appearance is desired. The product is self-leveling and can also be used to smooth and level the floor surface.
ARDEX K 520 can be applied alone up to 25 mm thick, and up to 75 mm with suitable aggregate addition, providing a hard, durable, and dust-free surface upon drying.
It can be applied on absorbent substrates such as concrete, cement screeds, and gypsum screeds, as well as non-absorbent substrates like terrazzo, natural stone, and ceramic.
Subsequent processes such as protection and polishing can be done 24-48 hours after application.

Can be stored for approximately 12 months in a dry and cool environment, between +5 and 25°C, in its original unopened packaging, protected from frost.

*These values are approximate and calculated under laboratory conditions at +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Environmental and air conditions can alter these values. Higher temperatures and lower humidity shorten these times, while lower temperatures and higher humidity extend them.
