Application Areas
ARDEX X 701 TW is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications on walls and floors. It is compatible with various materials including ceramics, granite-ceramics, porcelain tiles, cotto, moisture-resistant marble and natural stone, large-format ceramics, glass mosaics, brick veneers, concrete stones, rigid foam, and mineral wool insulation boards, soundproofing boards, dry screed boards for underfloor heating systems, and swimming pools.
It is especially suited for high-traffic areas such as residential spaces, shopping malls, commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, terraces, water tanks, cold storage rooms, wet areas like bathrooms, underfloor heating systems, swimming pools, and building facades up to 3 meters high.
Product Type
This thin-bed adhesive mortar is enriched with special additives that enhance flexibility, provide non-slip properties, extend working time, and increase adhesion strength. When mixed with water, it becomes a spreadable adhesive that resists water and weather conditions after curing and hardening over a few days.
ARDEX X 701 TW creates a strong, insoluble bond with covering materials applied to substrates like concrete, cement and calcium sulfate screeds, cement and gypsum plastered walls, gypsum boards, and more. ARDEX E 75, a water-diluted, solvent-free synthetic resin dispersion, further enhances strength.
